Why Write for ERPize

What Authors Receive

We think practitioners deserve credit for their knowledge.

🪪

Author Byline & Bio

Your name, title, institution or company, and a one-line bio permanently attached to your article — with a link to your profile, LinkedIn, or site.

🔗

Dofollow Author Link

One dofollow link per article — to your consulting page, GitHub repo, LinkedIn, or any professional resource you want to point readers toward.

📣

Newsletter Feature

Your article goes out to the ERPize subscriber list when it publishes. We introduce you as the author and give the article a proper send-off.

🏆

Professional Credibility

A published ERPize byline on your resume, LinkedIn, or consulting profile. "Published author in the ERP space" opens doors — especially in higher ed IT.

📂

Permanent Indexed Archive

Your article stays live indefinitely. It'll rank in search results for queries your colleagues are actively googling — long after it's published.

🤝

Editorial Support

We'll help you shape your draft into a clean, well-structured article. You don't need to be a professional writer — you need to know your subject.

What We Publish

  • Real solutions to real problems you've encountered on the job
  • SQL scripts, PowerShell snippets, or config steps with explanation
  • Case studies (anonymized if needed) with concrete outcomes
  • Compliance walkthroughs: IPEDS, FERPA, Title IV, state audits
  • 600–2,000 words — tight, accurate, scannable with clear H2s
  • Opinions grounded in experience, not marketing material
  • Vendor comparisons with honest trade-off analysis

What We Won't Publish

  • Vendor-sponsored or promotional content disguised as editorial
  • Generic intros that could have been written by anyone
  • Unattributed claims ("studies show") without linked sources
  • Content already published elsewhere (first rights required)
  • Articles that exist solely to add a backlink
  • Advice that contradicts established FERPA or IPEDS guidance

Frequently Asked Questions

ERPize is in its early publishing phase and does not currently pay per article. What we offer is bylines, professional links, newsletter amplification, and permanent archiving. As the platform grows, we plan to introduce a paid contributor program — early authors will be first in line.
Yes — and we encourage it. Practical code makes articles dramatically more useful and more likely to rank in search. Include scripts inline with clear explanation of what each section does. Avoid including anything that contains real production data, student records, or institution-specific credentials.
Yes. ERPize covers real products used in real institutions. We publish vendor-specific tutorials, comparisons, and critiques — but they must be editorially independent. Vendor-sponsored articles are not published without clear disclosure.
You can if you prefer, and we'll respect that. Many authors are comfortable naming their institution, which adds credibility. If a case study involves data anomalies, compliance issues, or vendor problems, anonymizing is wise and we can help you do that cleanly.
Absolutely. ERPize readers are ERP professionals, not literary critics. They want accurate, practical information written by someone who knows the subject — not polished prose. We'll work with you on structure and clarity. Your job is to know the material.
